A Gift for LVDCNT from Thrivent Financial

Thrivent Financial is a financial services organization that helps Christians be wise with money and live generously. For more than a century, it has helped its member-owners make wise money choices that reflect their values. Thrivent Choice is a charitable grant program that allows members to help choose where Thrivent Financial distributes a portion of its charitable funds each year.

THRIVENT CHOICE DOLLARS

One of the benefits of membership of Thrivent is directing Thrivent Choice Dollars to ministries you support and Lutheran Via de Cristo of North Texas (LVDCNT) is a ministry eligible to receive Thrivent Choice Dollars. Thrivent Choice Dollars are extremely helpful as we work to make our Weekends available and affordable for all people. Thrivent Financial can make a positive difference in our ministry through you and your choice. Please know if you want that support to occur, you must select LVDCNT, as selections must be made on an on-going basis (Quarterly).

If you are a member of Thrivent that has not directed your Thrivent Choice Dollars and would like to choose LVDCNT to receive your Thrivent Choice Dollars you can choose LVDCNT to receive your Thrivent Choice Dollars by doing the following:

Online

Visit https://www.thrivent.com/making-a-difference/living-generously/thrivent-choice/.
In the Direct Choice Dollars section on the right, select the “Get started now” link.
Log in and enter your user ID and password, and answer your security question. (If you haven’t yet registered on Thrivent.com, click “Register for account access” to do so.)
Find the number of Choice Dollars available to direct on the right side of the screen.
Locate the organization you want to direct to:
To direct to a previously chosen organization, click “Find.”
On the Activity History page, scroll down and click Lutheran Via de Cristo of North Texas.

To direct to a new organization, enter keyword(s) like Lutheran Via de Cristo of North Texas, etc. in the Search for Enrolled Organization section.
Click “Search.”
Click “Direct All” or enter a specific number and click “Direct Now.” Follow the prompts on the confirmation window to direct Choice Dollars.

By phone

Call 800-847-4836 and when prompted, say “Thrivent Choice.”
Press 1 to direct Choice Dollars or 2 to hear Thrivent Choice program terms and conditions.

(If prompted, say or enter your phone number and date of birth.)

Note: Please have your nine-digit Member Identification Number or contract number available.

A representative will work with you to direct Choice Dollars to Lutheran Via de Cristo of North Texas.

THRIVENT ACTION TEAMS

How it Works -Think about an unmet need in your community and how you could help. Apply to lead your volunteer team in a one-time fundraiser, service activity or educational event that can be completed within 90 days. Once your project is approved, you'll receive a Thrivent Action Kit, including:

Promotional banner.
Invitations and thank-you cards.
Thrivent Action Team T-shirts.
A $250 Community Impact Card you can use as seed money to get your project off the ground and make a bigger impact.

How often am I eligible? - All Thrivent members are eligible to lead a Thrivent Action Team. However, the number of teams each member can lead per year depends on his or her membership type. Benefit members are eligible to lead two Thrivent Action Teams per calendar year, and associate members are eligible to lead one per calendar year.
